MEC3D is equipped with a production site with state-of-the-art machinery, programmed with the support of the technical office through CAD-CAM software, which allows flexible productions of both simple and complex geometry components, with centesimal tolerances (0.01mm). To ensure full product traceability, it is possible to identify the details with laser marking. The quality control department is located inside a conditioned metrology room, ensuring repeatability over time.
We are able to guarantee flexibility, quality and cost savings in the production of mechanical components and assemblies, thanks to various cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, we can support the customer in feasibility choices or design changes, with the support of our technical department.
We offer the possibility to work on components with simple to complex geometries, in any type of material, from the prototyping phase to industrialization. We are able to achieve tolerances up to 0.01mm using CNC or lower processing through grinding or lapping with delivery times starting from 5 working day.
MEC3D is able to manage vertically all the phases of the production, from the sourcing of the right raw material to the final painting, thanks to the collaboration with various qualified partners.
We have experience with any type of material: from light alloys for the Aerospace, such as Titanium and Aluminium, to special steels for specific uses, such as in the Oil&Gas, where conditions and work environments are particularly difficult, such as Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel, etc., or as in the Medical sector, such as 17-4PH, 15-5PH, AISI 316L, in addition to the processing of plastic polymers.
The quality inspection of the processed parts is carried out through 2D and 3D measuring machines and tools, with qualified operators during both production and final inspection. We have a temperature-controlled metrology room. Quality documentation includes validation reports to ensure the highest quality and compliance.
MEC3D collaborates as a partner with a great variety of associations, with the aim of assisting and helping the different phases of project development, starting from the feasibility study phase to prototyping and the possibility of finding alternative solutions.
